When you expect success you can be certain you will receive it. Your expectations are going to determine your attitude. When you expect to accomplish a goal you will accomplish it.

A goal is going after something we truly want and when we understand that want our attitude toward the goal changes. We become involved and we focus on the outcome. It is a natural progression that as we focus even if we are not fully aware of the actions we are taking to achieve the goal, we are still doing something. That is the team effort we are asked to contribute from the universe.

You can change your performance.

When you ask yourself what is in your heart, you need to look at your behaviour. Your behaviour is a reflection of the road you are taking toward what you want.

It is an unfortunate fact that most people would rather live as they have been, with their old grievances and problems because changing in any form for them is just plain old hard work. They would rather stay in their routine, their comfort zone with their prickles and all because to change for them means stepping away from familiar security. Even when they know that any positive change they make is going to be so much better, so much grander for them, they still refuse to alter their attitude toward change. They are the people who will readily blame their upbringing, their friends, family, and parents, whatever; because their life isn’t going the way they want it to go. Without change, nothing will.

They need to embrace change and the temporary discomfort that follows that change is exactly that. Temporary.

You can change your life.

Sometimes change can make you feel a bit lonely. You’ve been running with the herd for so long that even the mere suggestion of change can have you running toward the security and the warmth in the middle of the herd. Ahh, that’s better. You are surrounded by the familiar.

The person who makes excuses for everything will never truly succeed. They could not, should not, did not, would not, have not, and will not. It is impossible to turn excuses into possibilities.
When you have faith in yourself, you have faith in the Universe. The Universe will help you change if you really want to change your lifestyle, your inner thought patterns and your life. You are responsible for the changes that you make in your life. What you show the world on the outside is a mirror image of how you feel on the inside.

What do you see in successful people? The same things that can make you a success as you apply the above principles to your own life. Within this recipe to success, you will find you will also need a sense of humour, an unwavering focus on what you want to be, have and do and a desire to learn at every turn. Be patient with yourself and know without a doubt you will be who you truly want to be.
