I am not a sales person, in fact I have never sold one thing ever in my life…I am a regular down to earth person just like you… I am not rich with money nor do I pretend to be… I am rich with regards to great family, friends, and wonderful social media friends. There is one thing I can tell you for sure being at the right place at the right time is key in running or having your own successful business while being financially stable. After all we all want success and to be financially stable, right? Years ago I used to give presentations on the power of 401K and how having some type of side business would be phenomenal and prove to be the best thing for a person’s future. It is better to have 401K and not touch it. I mean not borrow off of it or anything because when you borrow from it your return will not be the same as it would be if you left it alone. Oh I know what you are thinking, the struggle is hard and you might need to use it to cover something else that did not get taken care of. Could it be possible that you have over extended yourself and you are living beyond your means? Well I won’t lie to you I have been there and did it and that is why I am sharing this message with you. What makes me an authority on it?? I have actually walked the walk and so now I am talking the talk. I am informing/educating you on what not to do because I want to help you keep money in your bank account and be able to live very comfortable for the rest of your life. With having your own side business, you go through the transitional phases of starting up a business and allowing it time to grow while you are still working at a traditional job. Also while working at that traditional job you have money to put back into your business to continue to promote its growth while building an empire. What better way to start and grow a business than doing it with the money you make from a traditional job?? Before it is over with that traditional job becomes history because your business is exploding and you have money set aside in your 401K as well. I over emphasized 401K and having your own business because I knew that social security would not always be there for people to fall back on. We don’t always practice what we teach or preach. How many of you know that this is a phenomenally true statement? I knew the steps. I had the key but yet I did not follow the formula. The nice thing about having your own business is that Uncle Sam actually pays you to have it. What do I mean by that?? Let me let you in on some information. With owning your own business you are allow to count all of your home car and business equipment, henceforth this offsets the tax bill that you may owe. The key to all of this is making sure you have a binder or file folder set aside specifically to keep track of receipts and various things that pertain to your business. Having a designated place for all of your business receipts will prove to more simple during tax time. Keep in mind that you may also be able to right off family vacations as well on your taxes when owning your own business. Isn’t this awesome? I don’t want to pretend that having your own business is easy and requires no work, because in fact from the very beginning of putting things in place and slowly building a sound business there is work involved. There will be times when you are finishing up that last long call or working those late hours to finalize a business deal but the return on the back end is phenomenal. If you think about it, you work long hours at a traditional job and most times you only get a set salary and you are taken away from your family and maybe spending a countless amount of time commuting. Why not set your own schedule and be with your family, the people who need you the most. I realize that is why we work, to support our family however you need to be able to balance family and career and what a better way for this to unfold than you very own home base business. Well let’s consider this ideal for a moment, working anytime you want to and being able to wear any type of cloths, even your pajamas. This is awesome, right? Well studies show that you are less productive and even I found this to be true when you don’t shower and put on clean clothing. While its appears that you don’t have a boss, you really do because you still have people you have to please, whether it’s the audience for a blog that you have written you have your public to please that is reading it and then if you are selling then you must please the customer. In addition to this you still have to please the family that is depends upon this income. How wonderful is it to be able to have flexible schedule? Well, while it is good you still have deadlines and goals to meet so if the time is lost doing something else you either have to make up the time or make sure you are ahead of schedule. Here’s the thing about this you are back to square one if you do not proceed with caution on taking time away from your work because now you are back to working long hours again to continue to move your business forward and then your family is suffering. Your income will be limitless, gone is that once a year or raise every two years. Let me remind you again that it is not easy you will still have to work smart and work hard. Wait I know, I hear you, you are really tired worn out from the phone and computer. I feel your pain and I have already been there and done it both at home and in a traditional job setting. In summing this all up I just want to say that if you want to be prosperous with a home base business you have to treat it like a real business and it does require hard work and perseverance. I know that for me I take my own business very personal because I want to really grow my business and turn it into an empire so that my family has something. I am so happy you let me tell my story.
